Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

This set of instructions pertains solely to programming the remote portion of the key. It’s essential to have the key cut and programmed by a locksmith.

1. Ensure all doors are closed and locked using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within a span of 10 seconds. Successful completion of this step will be indicated by your Hazard Lamps flashing. Note: Completely withdraw the key from the ignition cylinder each time. If the procedure is executed too quickly, the system won’t enter programming mode.
3. Insert the key into the ignition cylinder and turn it to the ACC position.

6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch, and open the driver’s side door.
