To program your own integrated key head transmitter or standard coded keys to your vehicle, follow these instructions:

1. Ensure you have two previously programmed keys and the new unprogrammed key readily accessible.
2. Turn off the ignition before starting the procedure.
3. Complete all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.
4. If any steps are carried out of sequence, stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again.
5. Note: You can program a maximum of six coded keys to your vehicle.
6. Read and understand the entire procedure before starting.
7. Insert the first previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
8. Switch the ignition from off to on.
9. Keep the ignition on for at least 3 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.
10. Switch the ignition off and remove the first coded key from the ignition.
11. After at least 3 seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off, insert the second previously coded key into the ignition.
12. Switch the ignition from off to on.
13. Keep the ignition on for at least 3 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds.
14. Switch the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed coded key from the ignition.
15. After at least 3 seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off and removing the previously programmed coded key, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.
16. Switch the ignition from off to on.
17. Keep the ignition on for at least six seconds.
18. Remove the newly programmed coded key from the ignition.
19. If you have successfully programmed the new key, it will start your vehicle and operate the remote entry system.
20. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat Steps 1 through 8. Wait 20 seconds and repeat Steps 1 through 9 to program an additional key.

Programming a spare intelligent access key:

1. Note: You can program a maximum of four keys to your vehicle.
2. Ensure you have two previously programmed intelligent access keys inside your vehicle and the new unprogrammed intelligent access key readily accessible.
3. Turn off the ignition before starting this procedure.
4. Make sure all doors are closed before starting and throughout the procedure.
5. Complete all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.
6. If any steps are carried out of sequence, stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again.
7. Read and understand the entire procedure before starting.
8. Remove the key blade from the transmitter.
9. Open the floor console storage compartment lid.
10. Remove the tray.
11. Place the key into the backup slot.
12. Press the push-button ignition switch.
13. Wait five seconds and then press the push-button ignition switch again.
14. Remove the intelligent access key.
15. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
16. Wait five seconds and then press the push-button ignition switch again.
17. Remove the intelligent access key.
18. Wait five seconds, then place the unprogrammed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
19. Programming is now complete.
20. Check that the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new intelligent access key.
21. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 6.
