Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Programming with Two Recognized Transmitters:
To incorporate a new transmitter into the vehicle alongside two already recognized transmitters, adhere to these steps:
1. Position the two recognized transmitters in the cupholder.
2. Remove the cover of the key lock cylinder on the driver’s door handle. Insert the vehicle key of the new transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the driver’s door handle and turn it to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The Driver Information Center (DIC) will exhibit “READY FOR REMOTE # 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.”
3. Open the center console and extract the small tray. Insert the transmitter into the transmitter pocket with its buttons facing downwards.
4. Initiate the vehicle by pressing the POWER button. Once the transmitter is assimilated, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the subsequent transmitter.
5. Retrieve the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press either the unlock or lock button. To program more transmitters, repeat Steps 3–5. After programming all additional transmitters, press and hold the POWER button for 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
6. Reinsert the key into the transmitter.

Programming without Two Recognized Transmitters:
If two recognized transmitters are unavailable, follow this procedure to program up to eight transmitters. It’s important to note that this feature isn’t available in Canada. The process will require approximately 30 minutes to complete, and all transmitters intended for programming must be in your possession.
1. Remove the cover of the key lock cylinder on the driver’s door handle. Insert the vehicle key of the transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the driver’s door handle and turn it to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The DIC will display “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.”
2. Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC prompts “PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN,” then press the POWER button. The DIC will again indicate “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.”
3. Repeat Step 2 two more times. After the third iteration, all previously known transmitters will cease to function with the vehicle. Remaining transmitters can be relearned in the subsequent steps. The DIC should now display “READY FOR REMOTE # 1.”
4. Open the center console and remove the small tray. Insert the transmitter into the transmitter pocket with its buttons facing downwards.
5. Initiate the vehicle by pressing the POWER button. Once the transmitter is assimilated, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next transmitter.
