Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Start by closing and locking all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within a span of 10 seconds. Successful completion of this step will be indicated by your Hazard Lamps flashing. Note: Make sure to fully withdraw the key each time. If done too quickly, the system will not enter programming mode.
3. Insert the key into the ignition cylinder and turn it to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, press ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Note: Do not press the button more than once in this step. Pressing it multiple times will disrupt the programming procedure.
5. If there are additional transmitters (including old ones), unlock and lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch. Within 5 seconds, press ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter, including any existing ones.
6. Turn the key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition. Unlock the doors using the driver’s side power unlock/lock switch and open the driver’s side door.
