Below are the instructions for programming remotes for your vehicle, tailored to whether you have two programmed remotes available or not:

If you have two programmed remotes available:

1. Place the two programmed remotes in the cupholder.
2. Remove the key lock cylinder cap from the driver door handle.
3. Insert the vehicle key of the new remote into the key lock cylinder on the outside of the driver door. Turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The Driver Information Center (DIC) will display READY FOR REMOTE #2, 3, 4, or 5.
4. Put the new remote into the remote pocket inside the armrest storage area.
5. Press ENGINE START/STOP. When the remote is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next remote.
6. Remove the transmitter from the remote pocket and press unlock. Repeat Steps 3–5 for additional remotes. Once all remotes are programmed, hold the ENGINE START/STOP for 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
7. Reinsert the key into the remote.

If you don’t have two programmed remotes available:

1. Remove the key lock cylinder cap from the driver door handle.
2. Insert the vehicle key of the remote into the key lock cylinder on the outside of the driver door. Turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The DIC will display REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.
3. Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC shows PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN, then press ENGINE START/STOP. The DIC will again display REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.
4. Repeat Step 2 two more times. After the third time, all previously known remotes will no longer work. The DIC should now display READY FOR REMOTE #1.
5. Place the new remote into the remote pocket inside the armrest storage area.
6. Press ENGINE START/STOP. When the remote is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness for the next remote.
7. Remove the remote from the pocket and press unlock. Repeat Steps 4–6 for additional remotes. Once all remotes are programmed, hold the ENGINE START/STOP for 12 seconds to exit programming mode.
8. Reinsert the key into the remote.
