Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Important Note: Adding a new key requires having two functioning keys. If you do not possess two valid working keys, you will need to enlist the services of a locksmith to program or originate a key for you. Alternatively, if you possess only one working key, you can purchase a programmer.

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position for a minimum of three seconds, but do not exceed 15 seconds. Subsequently, switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Following this, insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will begin to flash. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the second key.

3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will cease flashing. Programming is complete when the Vehicle Security Light briefly illuminates before turning off. Your new key is now programmed. Additionally, the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will be programmed during this procedure. Repeat this process to program up to eight keys.
