Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

You can program up to eight keys for your vehicle, but only SecuriLock keys can be used. To program a key yourself, you’ll need two previously programmed keys (keys that already operate your vehicle’s engine) and the new unprogrammed key(s) readily accessible for each step. Please read and understand the entire procedure before starting.

1. Insert the first previously programmed key into the ignition and turn it from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second but no more than 10 seconds).

2. Turn the ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position to remove the first programmed key.

3. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the first previously programmed key, insert the second previously programmed key into the ignition and turn it from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second but no more than 10 seconds).

4. Turn the ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position to remove the second programmed key.

5. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the second programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key (new key/valet key) into the ignition and turn it from the OFF position to the ON position (maintain ignition in the ON position for at least one second but no more than 10 seconds). This step will program your new key to a programmed key.

6. To program additional new unprogrammed keys, repeat Steps 1 through 5. If successful, the new programmed key(s) will start the vehicle’s engine and operate the remote portion of the key.
