Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

If you have a flip key or key and have lost all keys, you will need to locate a locksmith to program a key.

1. Find an automotive locksmith in your area using the provided phone number or website.
2. If your vehicle is still mobile, consider driving to the locksmith to potentially save money.
3. The locksmith will connect specialized computer equipment to your vehicle to program the smart key remote fob. If you have one programmed flip key or key and want to add another key to the system, follow these steps:

1. Insert the original, already programmed key into the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position.
2. Turn the key to LOCK/OFF and remove it.
3. Insert the new key to be programmed and turn it to the ON/RUN position within five seconds. The security light will turn off once the key has been programmed.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 if additional keys are to be programmed.

Programming with a Recognized Transmitter:

If you have a smart key and have lost all keys, follow these instructions (Keyless Access Vehicles Only):

1. Insert the key of the transmitter into the door lock cylinder and cycle to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The Driver’s Information Center (DIC) will read “Remote Learn Pending. Please Wait.”
2. Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC reads “Press Engine Start Button Learn,” then press the ignition button. The DIC will again read “Remote Learn Pending. Please Wait.”
3. Repeat step 2 twice. After the third time, all previously working transmitters will no longer work, and the DIC will show “Ready For Remote #1.”
4. Place the transmitter in the transmitter pocket, located inside the center console, under the cup holder (the cup holder must be pulled out to access the transmitter pocket).
5. Press the ignition button. When the transmitter is accepted, the DIC will show “Ready For Remote #2.”
6. Remove the transmitter from the pocket and press the unlock button.
7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to add additional transmitters. When done, press and hold the ignition button for 5 seconds to exit programming mode.

If you have one programmed smart key and want to add another smart key, follow these instructions (Keyless Access Vehicles Only):

1. Place the original transmitter in the cup holder.
2. Insert the key of the new transmitter into the door and cycle to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The DIC will read “Ready For Remote #2, 3, 4, or 5.”
3. Place the new transmitter in the transmitter pocket, located inside the center console, under the cup holder (the cup holder must be pulled out to access the transmitter pocket).
4. Press the ignition button. When the transmitter is learned, the DIC will show “Ready For Remote #(next transmitter).”
5. Remove the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press the unlock button.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to add additional transmitters. When done, press and hold the ignition button for 5 seconds to exit programming mode.
