Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

To program spare Intelligent Access Keys, ensure you have two previously programmed Intelligent Access Keys inside the vehicle and the new unprogrammed Intelligent Access Keys readily accessible. If you don’t have two previously programmed keys, you’ll need a locksmith to program the spare key(s).

1. Make sure the vehicle is off before starting. Ensure all doors are closed and remain closed throughout the procedure.

2. Follow the steps exactly as described below, completing all within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. If steps are performed out of sequence, stop and wait for at least one minute before starting again. Read and understand the entire procedure before you begin.

3. Place the new unprogrammed Intelligent Access Key in the pocket inside the center console utility compartment.

4. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.

5. Press and release the brake pedal once.

6. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.

7. Press and release the brake pedal once. The indicator on the Start/Stop button should rapidly flash, indicating programming mode has been entered and two programmed Intelligent Access Keys have been detected in the vehicle.

8. Within one minute, press the start/stop button. If four Intelligent Access Keys are already programmed, the message “MAX # OF FOBS LEARNED” will be displayed.

9. Remove the new Intelligent Access Key from the center console pocket and press the unlock or lock control on the newly programmed Intelligent Access Keys to exit programming mode.

10. Verify that the remote entry functions operate (lock, unlock) and that the vehicle starts with the new Intelligent Access Key. If successful, it can activate the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature and start the vehicle.
