Programming the Key Portion:

– You’ll need two working keys to program the key portion. If you only have one working key, you’ll need a locksmith or special equipment to program a second key, or you can purchase a programmer.
1. Insert one of the existing working keys into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder to the ON (RUN) position and then back to OFF.
3. Remove the first working key, and within five seconds, insert the second working key. Turn it to the ON (RUN) position and then back to OFF.
4. Remove the second working key and quickly insert the new key within ten seconds. Turn it to the ON (RUN) position for one second, then back to OFF.
5. The security light will illuminate for three seconds, indicating that the new key has been successfully programmed.

1. Close all doors, then open the driver’s door and press the UNLOCK button on the driver’s door panel while keeping the door open. Insert the key into the ignition.
2. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN eight times within ten seconds, with the eighth turn ending in the RUN position. The door locks will cycle to confirm entry into programming mode.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first keyless remote. The door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.
