If you have a Key or Remotehead Key system, follow these steps to add a new key:

1. Begin with two previously programmed keys. If you don’t have two, contact a locksmith or consider purchasing a programmer if you have one working key.
2. Insert the first programmed key into the ignition and switch it from off to on. Maintain this position for at least three seconds but no more than 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition off and remove the first key.
4. Within 10 seconds, insert the second programmed key into the ignition.
5. Repeat the process: switch the ignition from off to on, keeping it on for at least three seconds but no more than 10 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition off and remove the second key.
7. Within 10 seconds, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.
8. Turn the ignition from off to on and keep it on for at least six seconds.
9. Remove the newly programmed key from the ignition. If successful, the key should start the engine and operate the remote entry system if it’s an integrated keyhead transmitter. If unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 8.
