Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

To program a key yourself, ensure you have two previously programmed keys and the new unprogrammed key(s) accessible. Follow these steps:

1. Insert the first previously programmed key into the ignition and turn it from the OFF position to the ON position. Maintain the ignition in the ON position for at least one second, but no more than 10 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position to remove the first programmed key.
3. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the first programmed key, insert the second previously programmed key into the ignition. Turn the ignition from the OFF position to the ON position, maintaining it in the ON position for at least one second but no more than 10 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition from the ON position back to the OFF position to remove the second programmed key.
5. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of removing the second programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key (new key/valet key) into the ignition. Turn the ignition from the OFF position to the ON position, maintaining it in the ON position for at least one second, but no more than 10 seconds. This step will program your new key to a programmed key.
6. To program additional new unprogrammed keys, repeat Steps 1 through 5. If successful, the new programmed key(s) will start the vehicle’s engine and operate the remote portion of the key.
