These programming procedures are applicable only to vehicles manufactured in the USA. Is it possible to program a new key without any working keys? Yes, after having the new key cut by a locksmith, follow these steps:

1. Insert the newly cut key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
2. Within 45 seconds, turn the key to the OFF position and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
3. Within 45 seconds, turn the key to the OFF position and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
4. Turn the key OFF, then back ON. The key is now programmed. Start the vehicle to test the key.

Can a duplicate key be programmed for this vehicle? Yes, after having the new key cut by a locksmith, follow these steps:

1. Insert an existing programmed working key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds, then back to the OFF position.
3. Remove the existing key and within 5 seconds insert the new key and turn it to the ON position for 5 seconds.
4. Turn the key OFF, then back to ON. The key is now programmed. Start the vehicle to test the key.
