Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Programming additional Remote Head Keys requires having two previously programmed keys and the new unprogrammed key within reach. If you lack two previously programmed keys, a Locksmith will be necessary to cut and program a second key. Alternatively, with one working key, you can acquire a Programmer and Key Here. Here are the steps:

1. Insert the first previously programmed key into the ignition.
2. Turn the ignition from off to on, keeping it on for at least three seconds but no more than 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition off and remove the first programmed key.
4. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of turning the ignition off, insert the second previously programmed key into the ignition.
5. Turn the ignition from off to on, keeping it on for at least three seconds but no more than 10 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed key.
7. After three seconds but within 10 seconds of turning the ignition off and removing the previously programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.
8. Turn the ignition from off to on, keeping it on for at least six seconds.
9. Remove the newly programmed key from the ignition. If successfully programmed, it will start the engine and operate the remote entry system.

For programming spare Intelligent Access Keys:

Ensure two previously programmed Intelligent Access Keys are inside the vehicle and the new unprogrammed Intelligent Access Keys are accessible. If two previously programmed keys are not available, a locksmith must program the spare key(s). Note: A maximum of four Intelligent Access Keys can be programmed to your vehicle. If replacing a previously programmed access key with a new one, or if four access keys are already programmed, a locksmith must be engaged. Here’s the procedure:

1. Place the new unprogrammed Intelligent Access Key in the pocket inside the glove box.
2. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.
3. Press and release the brake pedal once.
4. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.
5. Press and release the brake pedal once. The Start/Stop button indicator should flash rapidly, indicating programming mode with two programmed Intelligent Access Keys detected in the vehicle.
6. Within one minute, press the start/stop button. A message will confirm programming of the new Intelligent Access Key.
7. Remove the key from the glove box pocket and press the unlock or lock control on the newly programmed Intelligent Access Key to exit programming mode.
8. Verify remote entry functions (lock, unlock) and vehicle starting with the new Intelligent Access Key. If successful, it can activate the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature and start your vehicle.
