Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Ensure you have all the vehicle remotes available.
2. Confirm that all doors and the rear hatch/trunk are closed before starting the programming process.
3. Although only one remote is required to enter programming mode, ensure that all remotes are programmed during the same session.
4. Each step must be completed within a 5-second timeframe.

Steps:
1. Sit inside the car with all doors and trunk tightly shut.
2. Turn the key to the ON position (marked by “II” on the ignition bezel) so the dashboard lights illuminate. Within 5 seconds, press the “Lock” button on the remote for about a second, then release it.
3. Turn the key to the OFF position (marked by “I” on the ignition bezel), causing the dashboard lights to turn off.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 three more times (a total of 4 times). Each step should occur within 5 seconds of the previous one.
5. On the 4th turn of the key to the ON position, press the lock button on one remote. You’ll hear a cycling sound from the locks, indicating the system is in programming mode. Do not turn the key off.
6. Within 5 seconds of entering programming mode and within 5 seconds of each other, press the lock button on each remote you’re programming for about a second and then release it. This step needs to be completed within 10 seconds. Each press of a remote button should cause the locks to cycle. You can program up to 3 remotes.
7. Turn the ignition completely off and remove the key. Exit the vehicle and close the door. The remotes should now be programmed and operational. If your vehicle has a trunk/hatch release, hold the button for a few seconds before the trunk/hatch opens. Note that this procedure only programs the remote portion of the key.
