Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Please note that this procedure is applicable only to vehicles built in the USA. Additionally, you must have two functioning programmed remotes/keys before adding a third remote/key.

1. Start by using the first programmed remote/key. Turn the ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds (do not crank the engine). Then, turn the remote/key off and remove it.

2. Within 5 seconds, insert the second working programmed remote/key. Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not crank the engine). You’ll notice the security light flashing, and a chime will be heard within 10 seconds. Turn the remote/key off and remove it. Note: Some vehicles may not chime; only the security light will flash.

3. Within 5 seconds, insert the third NEW CUT remote/key and turn the ignition to the ON position (do not crank the engine). The security light should start flashing, and within 10 seconds, you should hear a chime, and the security light should go out. Once the security light goes out, the new remote/key should be programmed. Turn the remote/key to the OFF position and remove it.

4. Finally, test the key and remote to ensure successful programming.
