Important: Adding a new key requires two valid keys. If you lack two working keys, a locksmith must program the key for you.

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position for a minimum of three seconds but no more than 15 seconds. Subsequently, switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the key.

2. Insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will start flashing. Then, switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the key.

3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will cease flashing. Upon completion, the Vehicle Security Light will briefly turn on and then off again. Your new key is now programmed. Repeat these steps for up to eight keys.
