Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

These programming procedures are specifically designed for vehicles built in the USA. If you find yourself without any working keys and need to program a new one, you can do so by following these steps:

1. After having the new key cut by a Locksmith or another qualified individual, insert the new cut key into the ignition.
2. Turn the key to the ON position and leave it there for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
3. Within 45 seconds, switch the key to the OFF position, then back to the ON position for another 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
4. Repeat the process within 45 seconds once more, turning the key to OFF and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
5. Finally, turn the key OFF, then back ON. Your key should now be programmed. Test it by starting the vehicle.

If you’re looking to program a duplicate key, you can follow these steps:

1. Insert an existing programmed working key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds, then switch it back to the OFF position.
3. Within 5 seconds, remove the existing key and insert the new one, turning it to the ON position for another 5 seconds.
4. Afterward, turn the key OFF, then back to ON. This process will program the key. Finally, test the key by starting the vehicle.
