Step-by-Step Programming Instructions for New Remotes:

The keyless entry system includes a code learning feature that allows you to program new transmitter codes or delete old ones. It can store up to four unique transmitter codes, which can be the same or different. To register a new transmitter, follow these steps:

1. Locate the transmitter’s code, which is either affixed to the bag containing the transmitter or printed on the circuit board inside the remote. If there’s no bag, note the eight-digit code inside the remote.

2. Sit in the driver’s seat and ensure all doors and the rear gate or trunk lid are closed.

3. Open and close the driver’s door once, then within 45 seconds:

4. Open and close the driver’s door once again.

5. Turn the ignition key from LOCK to ON ten times within 15 seconds. An electronic tone will sound, a buzzer will continue to sound, and the interior light will flash until the transmitter codes are registered.

6. If the above steps are not completed within 45 seconds, an error will occur. Start again from step 3.

7. Within 45 seconds, open and close the driver’s door once, and an electronic tone will sound for 30 seconds.

8. If the operations are not performed within 15 seconds, an error will occur. Repeat the registration steps starting from step 3.

9. While the electronic tone is still sounding, press the power door lock button to LOCK the same number of times as the leftmost digit of the transmitter code. Repeat this for each digit of the code, pressing UNLOCK within five seconds after each series.

10. After entering all eight digits, within five seconds, press the LOCK button to UNLOCK once, then repeat the entire process.

11. If the interval between pressing the lock knob exceeds five seconds, an error will occur. Repeat from step 4.

12. If an error occurs six times, start again from step 3.

13. If the code entered the second time doesn’t match the first, an error will occur. Repeat from step 5.

14. If an error occurs five times, start again from step 3.

15. If you need to program another transmitter code, repeat from step 4.

16. Once all necessary transmitter codes are programmed, remove the key from the ignition switch and test the system.
