Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

For vehicles without a transponder, follow Procedure #1. For those with a transponder, use Procedure #2.

Procedure #1 (Remote/Key without Transponder):
1. Ensure all doors are closed and enter the car. Turn the ignition to the “run” position (without starting the engine).
2. Using any programmed remote/key, press the UNLOCK button for 4 to 10 seconds.
3. While still holding the UNLOCK button, within the specified time frame, press the PANIC button. A chime will indicate programming mode. Release both buttons.
4. Within 60 seconds, repeat the following steps for each additional remote/key: Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds on an unprogrammed remote/key. A chime will sound. Within 4 seconds, press and release the UNLOCK button. Another chime will sound.
5. Turn the ignition to OFF and remove the key.
6. Test the remote/key.

Procedure #2 (Remote/Key with Transponder):
**Note: This procedure is applicable only to vehicles built in the USA. You must have two working programmed remote/keys before adding a third.**
1. Using the first programmed remote/key, turn the ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds (do not crank the engine). Turn the remote/key off and remove it.
2. Within 5 seconds, insert the second working programmed remote/key. Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not crank the engine). The security light will start flashing, and a chime will be heard within 10 seconds. Turn the remote/key off and remove it.
**Note: Some vehicles may not chime; only the security light will flash.**
3. Within 5 seconds, insert the third new cut remote/key and turn the ignition to the ON position (do not crank the engine). The security light should start flashing, and within 10 seconds, you should hear a chime, and the security light should go out. Once the security light goes out, the new remote/key should be programmed. Turn the remote/key to the OFF position and remove it.
4. Test the key and remote.
