Note: Adding a new key requires two valid keys. If you lack two operational keys, a locksmith must program one for you. Follow these steps:

1. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position for 3 to 15 seconds. Then, switch to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Within 15 seconds, turn to the ON/RUN position. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will begin flashing. Turn to the LOCK position and remove the key.

3. Insert the new key within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will stop flashing. Programming is complete when the Vehicle Security Light briefly illuminates before turning off. The new key is now programmed, and the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will also be programmed during this procedure. Repeat for up to eight keys.
