Important Note: Adding a new key to the system requires two valid keys. If you lack two functioning keys, a locksmith must program one for you. Follow these steps:

1. Start by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position, ensuring it remains in this position for at least three seconds but no more than 15 seconds. Then, switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Next, insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will start flashing. Switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the second key.

3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will cease flashing. Programming is complete when the Vehicle Security Light briefly turns on before turning off. Your new key is now programmed. Remember, you can repeat this process to program up to eight keys.
