Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Please note: Adding a new key to the system requires two valid keys. If you don’t have two working keys, a locksmith will need to program one for you. Follow these steps:

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position for at least three seconds, but no longer than 15 seconds. Then, turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the first key.
2. Next, insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, you’ll hear a chime, and the Vehicle Security Light will begin flashing. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the second key.
3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will stop flashing. When the Vehicle Security Light turns on briefly and then off again, it indicates that the programming is complete. Your new key is now programmed, and the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will also be programmed during this procedure. Repeat these steps to program up to eight keys.
