Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Before entering programming mode, ensure you have all the transmitters you’ll use with the vehicle. Once programmed, previous codes will be erased. Other transmitters won’t work until reprogrammed.

1. Close and lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it at least six times within 10 seconds. Hazard lamps will flash to confirm. Ensure the key is fully withdrawn each time. If done too quickly, the system won’t enter programming mode.
3. Insert the key into the ignition and turn to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, press ANY button on the remote transmitter. Hazard lamps should flash. Press the button only once; multiple presses will disrupt the procedure.
5. If there are more transmitters, unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch. Within 5 seconds, press ANY button on the next remote. Repeat for each transmitter.
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove it, then unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock and open the driver’s side door.
