Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Sit in the car and ensure all doors are closed.
2. Press and release both the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. After five seconds, insert a working, pre-programmed key (such as the black master key) into the ignition cylinder. Turn the key to the “ON” position. If you inserted the primary key, don’t wait more than 15 seconds before pressing and releasing the accelerator pedal five times. If using a valet key, perform this step four times.
3. Within 20 seconds, depress and release the brake pedal alone six times for a primary key (or five times for a valet key).
4. Turn the key to the “OFF” position and immediately remove it.
5. Insert the unprogrammed key within 10 seconds of removing the programmed key and turn it to the “ON” position.
6. Press and release the accelerator pedal once within 10 seconds of turning the key. The security light should then flash for about a minute. Once it stops flashing, the programming is complete.
7. Start the vehicle using the newly programmed key to ensure it has been successfully programmed. If not, repeat the procedure from step 1.
