Here’s how to add a key to the system, ensuring you have your master Toyota key (black key) ready:

1. Insert the black programmed key into the ignition.
2. Within 15 seconds of inserting the key, press and release the accelerator pedal 5 times.
3. Within 20 seconds of step 2, press and release the brake pedal 6 times.
4. Remove the black key from the ignition switch.
5. Insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition within 10 seconds of removing the black key.
6. Within 10 seconds of step 5, press and release the accelerator pedal once.
