Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, ensure you have all remotes you will be using on the vehicle. Programming a new remote will erase all previously programmed remotes from memory. Other remotes will not function until reprogrammed.

1. Remove the key from the ignition.
2. Locate and remove the “BCMPRGRM” fuse from the fuse panel. Use the legend on the fuse panel to find the “BCMPRGRM” fuse. Access the fuse panel by opening the front passenger door.
3. Close all doors.
4. Close the liftgate.
5. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ACC position.
6. Turn the key to OFF and then back to ACC within 1 second.
7. Open and close any vehicle door. A chime will indicate the system has entered programming mode.
8. Press and hold the remote’s LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. IMPORTANT: After 7 seconds, a chime may confirm successful synchronization. Wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime confirming successful programming.
9. Repeat step 8 for each additional remote to be programmed, including any existing remotes.
10. Remove the key from the ignition.
11. Reinstall the “BCMPRGRM” fuse into the fuse panel and test the remote(s).
