Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

**IMPORTANT:** Before entering programming mode, ensure you have all the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Programming a transmitter will erase all previous codes from memory, rendering other transmitters non-functional until reprogrammed.

1. Close and lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Successful completion of this step will cause your Hazard Lamps to flash. Note: Completely withdraw the key from the ignition cylinder each time. If done too quickly, the system will not enter programming mode.
3. Insert the key into the ignition cylinder and turn it to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Note: Only press the button once in this step. Pressing it multiple times will result in an unsuccessful programming procedure.
5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter, including any existing ones.
6. Turn the key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition. Unlock the doors using the driver’s side power unlock/lock switch and open the driver’s side door.
