Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Follow this procedure to add a key to the system. Ensure you have your master Toyota key (black key) ready:

1. Insert the black programmed key into the ignition.
2. Within 15 seconds of inserting the key, press and release the accelerator pedal five times.
3. Within 20 seconds of step 2, press and release the brake pedal six times.
4. Remove the black key from the ignition switch.
5. Insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition within 10 seconds of removing the black key.
6. Within 10 seconds of step 5, press and release the accelerator pedal once.
7. After performing these steps correctly, you will observe the immobilizer warning lamp begin to flash. After one minute, the lamp will stop flashing. Once the immobilizer warning lamp stops flashing, you will have 10 seconds to insert an additional key to be programmed.
8. Within 10 seconds of inserting the key into the ignition, press and release the accelerator pedal once.
9. The immobilizer warning lamp will flash again, and after one minute, the lamp will shut off.
