To program a new remote, all remotes intended for use with the vehicle (except the one used to initiate programming mode) must be programmed within a 30-second window:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (without starting the engine).
2. Press and hold the unlock button on a currently programmed remote for 4 to 10 seconds. While holding the unlock button, press and release the panic button. Release the unlock button, and a single chime will sound, indicating that the vehicle is in programming mode.
3. Within 30 seconds, press and release the lock or unlock button on all remotes intended for use with the vehicle except the one used to start the programming mode. Successful programming will be confirmed by a single chime.

Note: Entering programming mode clears previous programming from remotes, requiring them to be reprogrammed.
