Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Locate the ECU. It appears as a black box with three connectors and a recessed green reset button. It may be situated under the driver’s seat, under the driver’s side dashboard (near the fuse box), or behind the passenger’s right kick panel.
2. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the ON position. Utilize a paperclip or small screwdriver to press and hold the ECU’s PROGRAMMING SWITCH for 3 seconds. The STATUS MONITOR LED will illuminate for 5 seconds.
3. The next step must be performed within 5 seconds (if programming multiple remotes, repeat the following steps for each remote within this time frame). Press and release a REMOTE CONTROL’s top or bottom button. The STATUS MONITOR LED will turn off. The Piezochirper will chirp once. The exterior lights will flash once.
4. Note: If the top button of the remote is held for too long, the alarm will be triggered. Simply press the top button again to reset the alarm.
5. Turn off the ignition. The ECU will now operate with the newly programmed REMOTE CONTROL.
