1. Find the Data Link Port, located under the dash on the driver’s side. Ensure you identify pins 8 and 4 (note that the port is wider at the top). Your OBDII port won’t have numbers, so use this diagram for reference only.
2. Confirm there are metal contact pins in terminals 8 and 4. Connect 8 to 4 using a suitable jumper wire (keep the jumper wire connected throughout the programming procedure).
