Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

To program your FOB, ensure its FCC ID matches your other FOB. If it’s different, it won’t work. If you’re unsure of the FCC ID, consult your dealer to determine the correct one. Known FCC IDs include NBG730956 and M36HU01WT. This process does not apply to the Hellas system.

Start by placing one key in the ignition (do not start the engine) and another key in the driver’s door. Turn the door key to the unlock position (counterclockwise) and hold until it beeps three times, approximately 10-15 seconds. Then, return it to the center position (leave it in the door). Press any button on one of the FOBs (if you have multiple, you must program all at once, or the ones programmed previously won’t work). The horn will beep once for each programmed FOB, for example, one beep for the first FOB, two for the second, and so on.

Next, turn the door key back to the left until the horn beeps three times to deactivate the program mode, then remove the ignition key. All FOBs are now programmed. Test them to ensure functionality.

If you don’t hear a beep when pressing a button on the FOB, check the FOB batteries. Additionally, if your car didn’t come with any FOBs and you purchased aftermarket ones, this process only works if you have a factory alarm system. Look for a white box behind the headlight switch.
