Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:
1. Sit in the driver’s seat with all doors, liftgate, or trunk closed and unlocked.
2. Open and close the driver’s door once.
3. Insert the key in the ignition and swiftly turn it from OFF to ON and back to OFF ten times. (Do not start the vehicle, just turn it to the ON position so the dashboard lights come on.)
4. After the tenth time, if done correctly and within the allotted time, you should hear the horn beep once.
5. Upon hearing the horn beep, open and close the driver’s door once.
6. Press any button on the remote. After pressing the button, you should hear the horn beep twice.
7. To program additional/multiple remotes, repeat the process by opening and closing the driver’s door and pressing a button on the next fob to be programmed. You can program up to 4 remotes.
8. Once you’ve finished programming your remote(s), remove the key from the ignition. You should hear the horn beep three times.
9. Wait for two minutes before testing the remote(s).
10. Press the Lock button on a remote. It should lock the door and activate the alarm system.
11. Press Unlock, and it should disarm the alarm and unlock the driver’s door. Pressing unlock again should unlock the rest of the doors and the trunk.
