Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, ensure you have all the transmitters you’ll use with the vehicle. Once programmed, all previous codes will be erased. Other transmitters won’t work until reprogrammed.

1. Insert keys into the ignition and leave them in the OFF position.
2. Locate the Data Port.
3. Check for metal contact pins in terminals 8 and 4. Connect these terminals using a suitable jumper wire (keep them connected throughout the programming process). Make sure you know which terminals are 8 and 4. The vehicle will respond by locking then unlocking the doors, indicating programming mode entry.
4. Press and hold both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the first remote to be programmed. Within about 30 seconds, the vehicle will lock and unlock the doors. Release the buttons on the remote.
5. Within one minute, repeat the previous step for any remaining remotes (including your old one), if applicable.
6. Remove the jumper wire from the Data Port (disconnect terminals 8 and 4).
