Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Start by removing the key from the ignition.
2. Open the front passenger door to access the fuse panel and locate the “BCMPRGRM” fuse using the fuse panel legend.
3. Ensure all doors are closed, including the liftgate if it’s open.
4. Insert the keys into the ignition and turn the ignition lock cylinder to ACC (one click towards you).
5. Quickly turn the ignition lock cylinder to OFF, and then back to ACC within 1 second.
6. Open and close any vehicle door to trigger programming mode, indicated by a chime.
7. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. You may hear a chime after 7 seconds to confirm synchronization and another after approximately 14 seconds to confirm successful programming. This erases existing remote codes and accepts the new remote.
8. Repeat the previous step for each additional transmitter, including existing ones.
9. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.
10. Reinstall the “BCMPRGRM” fuse into the fuse panel.
