To program spare Intelligent Access Keys, ensure you have two previously programmed keys inside the vehicle and the new unprogrammed keys accessible. If you lack two previously programmed keys, a locksmith will be necessary to program the spare key(s). Note: Your vehicle can accommodate a maximum of four Intelligent Access Keys. If you wish to replace a previously programmed key or already have four keys programmed, a locksmith must handle the programming. Before beginning, ensure the vehicle is off, all doors are closed, and they remain closed throughout the process. Perform the steps precisely as outlined below, completing each within 30 seconds of starting. If any steps are out of sequence, pause for at least one minute before resuming.

1. Place the new unprogrammed intelligent access key in the pocket inside the center console utility compartment.
2. Press the driver or passenger power door unlock control three times.
3. Press and release the brake pedal once.
4. Press the driver or passenger power door lock control three times.
5. Press and release the brake pedal once. The indicator on the Start/Stop button should begin to rapidly flash, indicating programming mode and detection of two programmed keys.
6. Within one minute, press the start/stop button. If four Intelligent Access Keys are already programmed, the message “MAX#OFFOBSLEARNED” will display on the message center.
7. Remove the intelligent access key from the utility compartment pocket and press the unlock control on the newly programmed key to exit programming mode.
8. Verify remote entry functions (lock, unlock) and vehicle start with the new Intelligent Access Key. If successful, the key can activate the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature and start the vehicle.
