How to Program a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus Ignition Smart Chip Key Transponder

Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:

To program your own integrated key head transmitter or standard coded key to your vehicle, follow these instructions carefully. You’ll need two previously programmed keys and the new unprogrammed key readily accessible. Ensure the ignition is switched off before beginning.

1. Insert the first previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
2. Switch the ignition from off to on and keep it on for at least 3 seconds but no more than 10 seconds.
3. Switch the ignition off and remove the first coded key.
4. After at least 3 seconds but within 10 seconds of switching the ignition off, insert the second previously coded key into the ignition.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second programmed key.
6. After removing the second previously programmed coded key, insert the new unprogrammed key into the ignition.
7. Switch the ignition from off to on and keep it on for at least six seconds.
8. Remove the newly programmed coded key from the ignition.

If the new key is successfully programmed, it will start your vehicle and operate the remote entry system. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 8. You can program a maximum of four keys to your vehicle.

Additional notes:

5. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
6. Remove the intelligent access key.
7. Wait five seconds, then place the unprogrammed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
8. Programming is now complete. Check that the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new intelligent access key. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 6.
