1. Ensure you have two previously programmed remote controls inside your vehicle and the new, unprogrammed remote control readily accessible.
2. Turn off your vehicle before starting the procedure.
3. Close all doors and ensure they remain closed throughout the procedure.
4. Complete all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.

17. Programming is now complete.
18. With your foot on the brake pedal, press the push-button ignition switch to verify the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new remote control.
19. If programming was not successful, wait 10 seconds and repeat Steps 1 through 7.
20. If all keys are lost for this vehicle, follow these steps:
a. Locate an automotive locksmith in your area by visiting LocateALocksmith.com.
b. If your vehicle is still mobile, consider driving to the locksmith to potentially save money.
c. The locksmith will hook up specialized computer equipment to your vehicle to program the smart key remote fob.
