Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:
1. Ensure you have a maximum of four keys for your vehicle. Two previously programmed intelligent access keys should be inside your vehicle, with the new unprogrammed key readily accessible.
2. Turn off the ignition before starting the procedure.
3. Close all doors and ensure they remain closed throughout the procedure.
4. Complete all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence.
5. Pause for at least one minute if any steps are carried out of sequence.
6. Familiarize yourself with the entire procedure before starting.
7. Open the center console lid.
8. Insert the first programmed key into the backup slot.
9. Press the push-button ignition switch.
10. Wait five seconds, then press the push-button ignition switch again.
11. Remove the intelligent access key.
12. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
13. Wait five seconds, then press the push-button ignition switch again.
14. Remove the intelligent access key.
15. Wait five seconds, then place the unprogrammed intelligent access key in the backup slot and press the push-button ignition switch.
16. Programming is now complete.
17. Verify that the remote control functions operate and your vehicle starts with the new intelligent access key.
18. If programming was unsuccessful, wait 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 through 7.
