1. Begin by ensuring you have two previously programmed keys. If not, seek assistance from a local locksmith to program a key.
2. Insert the first previously programmed key into the ignition.
3. Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep it on for at least three seconds, but no more than ten seconds.
4. Turn the ignition off and remove the first programmed key.
5. After three seconds but within ten seconds of turning the ignition off, insert the second previously programmed key.
6. Turn the ignition from off to on again. Keep it on for at least three seconds, but no more than ten seconds.
7. Turn the ignition off and remove the second previously programmed key.
8. After three seconds but within ten seconds of turning the ignition off and removing the previously programmed key, insert the new unprogrammed key.
9. Turn the ignition from off to on. Keep it on for at least six seconds.
10. Remove the newly programmed key from the ignition. If successful, the engine should start, and the remote entry system should operate (if the new key has an integrated key head transmitter). If unsuccessful, wait ten seconds and repeat steps 1 through 8.
