1. Insert the new key into the ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON position (as far as possible without cranking the engine). The security light on the dashboard will illuminate and remain on for ten minutes. When the security light goes out, you have one minute to start the next step.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder to OFF and then back to the ON position. The security light on the dashboard will illuminate and remain on for ten more minutes. When the security light goes out, you have one minute to start the next step.

4. After the security light has gone off for the third time, turn the key off and remove it from the ignition. The key is now programmed, and all other keys have been erased.

3. Remove the existing key and within ten seconds, insert the new key and turn it to the ON position.
4. The security light will light up for two seconds to indicate successful programming of the additional key. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Insert the key and start the vehicle to test the key.
