Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:

### Programming with Two Recognized Transmitters:
1. **Prepare Recognized Transmitters:**
– Place the two recognized transmitters in the rear cupholder in the center console.

2. **Access Driver Door Handle:**
– Remove the key lock cylinder cap on the driver door handle.

3. **Initiate Programming Mode:**
– Insert the vehicle key of the new transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the driver door handle.
– Turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds.
– The Driver Information Center (DIC) will display “READY FOR REMOTE #2, 3, 4, or 5, 6, 7, or 8”.

4. **Replace Transmitter:**
– Replace one of the recognized transmitters with the new transmitter.
– Place the new transmitter in the rear cupholder in the center console.

5. **Program Transmitter:**
– Press ENGINE START/STOP.
– Once the transmitter is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next transmitter.

6. **Repeat for Additional Transmitters:**
– Remove the transmitter from the transmitter pocket and press Lock or Unlock.
– Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each additional transmitter.
– When all additional transmitters are programmed, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for twelve seconds to exit programming mode.

### Programming without Currently Recognized Transmitters:
1. **Access Driver Door Handle:**
– Remove the key lock cylinder cap on the driver door handle.

2. **Initiate Programming Mode:**
– Insert the vehicle key of the transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the driver door handle.
– Turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds.
– The DIC will display “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT”.

3. **Wait for Prompt:**
– Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC displays “PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN”, then press ENGINE START/STOP.
– The DIC will display “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT” again.

4. **Repeat for Three Times:**
– Repeat step 3 two additional times.
– After the third time, all previously known transmitters will no longer work with the vehicle, and remaining transmitters can be relearned.

5. **Place New Transmitter:**
– Place the new transmitter into the rear cupholder in the center console.

6. **Program Transmitter:**
– Press ENGINE START/STOP.
– Once the transmitter is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next transmitter.

7. **Repeat for Additional Transmitters:**
– Remove the transmitter from the cupholder and press Lock or Unlock.
– Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each additional transmitter.

8. **Exit Programming Mode:**
– When all additional transmitters are programmed, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for twelve seconds to exit programming mode.
