How to Program a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus Ignition Chip Key Transponder

Step by Step How to Programming Instructions:

Note: Before starting, ensure you have TWO already programmed keys for your vehicle. If you only have one programmed key, you will need to either have a locksmith program a second key or rent a programmer.

1. Remove the rubber covering from the cupholder between the front seats.
2. Place the first programmed key in the backup slot at the bottom of the cupholder, then press the push button ignition switch.
3. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.
4. Remove the first key from the cupholder.
5. Within 10 seconds, place a second programmed key in the backup slot. Press the push button ignition switch.
6. Wait five seconds and then press the push button ignition switch again.
7. Remove the second key from the cupholder.
8. Place the new unprogrammed key in the backup slot and press the push button ignition switch. Programming is now complete. Test the remote(s).
