Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Programming with Two Recognized Keys:

1. Begin by inserting the original, already programmed key into the ignition and turning it to the ON/RUN position.
2. Switch the key to LOCK/OFF and then remove it.
3. Within five seconds, swiftly insert the second original already programmed key into the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position.
4. Again, turn the key to LOCK/OFF and remove it.
5. Insert the new key to be programmed and swiftly turn it to the ON/RUN position within five seconds. The security light will turn off once the key has been programmed.
6. Repeat Steps 1–5 if there are additional keys to be programmed.

**Programming without Two Recognized Keys:**

When a recognized key is not available, follow these steps to program a new key to the vehicle:

1. Insert the new vehicle key into the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position. Note that the security light will come on.
2. Wait for 10 minutes until the security light turns off.
3. Turn the ignition to LOCK/OFF.
4. Repeat Steps 1–3 two more times. After the third time, turn to ON/RUN; the key is learned, and all previously known keys will no longer work with the vehicle.
5. To program the second key, turn to OFF, insert the second key to be learned, and rotate to ON/RUN. After two keys are learned, the remaining keys can be learned by following the procedure outlined in “Programming with Two Recognized Keys.”

**Programming with Two Recognized Transmitters (Keyless Access):**

1. Place the two recognized transmitters in the front cupholder of the center console storage area.
2. Insert the vehicle key of the new transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the outside of the driver door and turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The DIC will display READY FOR REMOTE #3, 4, or 5.
3. Place the new transmitter in the front cupholder.
4. Press ENGINE START/STOP. When the transmitter is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next transmitter.
5. Remove the transmitter from the front cupholder and press Unlock. To program additional transmitters, repeat Steps 3–5. Once all additional transmitters are programmed, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for 12 seconds to exit programming mode.

**Programming without Recognized Transmitters (Keyless Access):**

1. Insert the vehicle key of the transmitter into the key lock cylinder on the outside of the driver door and turn the key to the unlock position five times within 10 seconds. The DIC will display REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.
2. Wait for 10 minutes until the DIC displays PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN. Then, press ENGINE START/STOP. The DIC will again display REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT.
3. Repeat Step 2 two additional times. After the third time, all previously known transmitters will no longer work with the vehicle. Remaining transmitters can be relearned during the next steps. The DIC should now display READY FOR REMOTE #1.
4. Place the new transmitter in the front cupholder.
5. Press ENGINE START/STOP. Once the transmitter is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next transmitter.
6. Remove the transmitter from the cupholder and press Unlock. To program additional transmitters, repeat Steps 4–6. After all additional transmitters are programmed, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for 10 seconds to exit programming mode.
