Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Programming with Recognized Remote Keys: When there are two recognized keys, a new key can be programmed to the vehicle. To initiate programming, ensure the vehicle is in the run position, and all remote keys, both current and new, are in your possession. For Yukon models with a front bench seat:

1. Place the two recognized remote keys on the passenger seat.
2. Navigate to the DIC menu and select “Remote Key Learn.” The DIC will indicate readiness for the new key.
3. Insert the new remote key into the backup pocket in the lower console bin.
4. Press ENGINE START/STOP. Upon successful programming, the DIC will indicate readiness for the next remote key.
5. Retrieve the remote key from the backup location and press UNLOCK or LOCK. To program additional remote keys, repeat steps 3–5. After programming all additional remote keys, press and hold ENGINE START/STOP for approximately 12 seconds to exit programming mode.

For Yukon models without a front bench seat:

1. Place the two recognized remote keys on the passenger seat.
2. Navigate to the DIC menu and select “Remote Key Learn.” The DIC will indicate readiness for the new key.

2. If your vehicle is still drivable, consider driving to the locksmith to potentially save on service fees.
3. The locksmith will utilize specialized computer equipment to program the smart key remote fob to your vehicle.
