Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Programming Remote Keys with Recognized Keys:

A new key can be programmed to the vehicle when two recognized keys are available. Follow these steps:

1. Place the two recognized remote keys on the passenger seat.
2. Access the DIC menu and select “Remote Key Relearn.” The DIC will display “READY FOR REMOTE #3, 4, 5,” etc.
3. Put the new remote key into the front cupholder.
4. Press the ENGINE START/STOP button. Once the remote key is learned, the DIC will indicate readiness to program the next remote key.
5. Remove the remote key from the front cupholder and press either UNLOCK or LOCK on the remote key. Repeat Steps 4–5 to program additional remote keys.
6. After programming all additional remote keys, press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button for approximately 12 seconds to exit programming mode.

Programming Remote Keys without Recognized Keys:

If two currently recognized remote keys are not available, follow these steps:

1. Find an automotive locksmith in your area using LocateALocksmith.com.
2. If your vehicle is still drivable, consider driving to the locksmith to potentially save on service fees.
3. The locksmith will connect specialized computer equipment to your vehicle to program the smart key remote fob.
