Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Note: Adding a new key requires having two functioning keys. If you do not have two valid working keys, you will need to contact a locksmith to program or originate a key for you. Alternatively, if you have only one working key, you can purchase a programmer.

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position for a minimum of three seconds but no longer than 15 seconds. Then, switch the ignition to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Next, insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will start flashing. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the second key.

3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will stop flashing. Programming is complete when the Vehicle Security Light turns on briefly and then turns off. Your new key is now programmed. The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will also be programmed during this procedure. Repeat this process to program up to eight keys.
