Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

These programming procedures are specifically designed for vehicles manufactured in the USA. If you find yourself without any working keys, you can still program a new key yourself by following these steps:

1. Have a locksmith cut a new key for you, then insert it into the ignition and turn it to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
2. Within 45 seconds, turn the key to the OFF position, and then back to the ON position for another 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
3. Again, within 45 seconds, repeat the process of turning the key to the OFF position and then back to the ON position for 10 minutes and 30 seconds.
4. Finally, turn the key OFF, then back ON. Your key is now programmed. Start the vehicle to test the key.

If you’re looking to program a duplicate key, you can follow these steps:

1. Insert an existing programmed working key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position for 5 seconds, then back to the OFF position.
3. Remove the existing key, and within 5 seconds, insert the new key and turn it to the ON position for 5 seconds.
4. Turn the key OFF, then back ON. Your duplicate key is now programmed. Start the vehicle to test it.
