Note: Adding a new key requires having two valid keys. If you lack two functioning keys, a locksmith will need to program one for you. Follow these steps:

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position for a minimum of three seconds, but not exceeding 15 seconds. Then, turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Next, insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, you’ll hear a chime, and the Vehicle Security Light will start flashing. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the second key.

3. Now, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will stop flashing. The Vehicle Security Light will briefly turn on again and then off, indicating that programming is complete. Your new key is now programmed. Additionally, the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will be programmed during this procedure. Repeat these steps to program up to eight keys.
